Tips for Using the Online Certification, Registration & Licensing System

  • When creating your online profile, do not use the First Time Applicant process if you have already applied with us, are already certified or registered by us, or were previously, certified or registered by us. The First Time Applicant process is only for new applicants.
  • Mobile and Apple devices may not be compatible for using our online system.
  • Naming Files to be Uploaded. Please ensure to name scanned files in a manner that clearly identifies the item being uploaded. For example, if uploading a fingerprint receipt, a good name would be “FP Receipt”, or “FP Receipt for Jane Doe”. A bad name would be “JBCC”, “123456789.jpg”.
  • If you see incorrect information on your profile and you are unable to correct yourself, please send an email to courtreporting@txcourts.gov for assistance from the licensing specialist.
  • If you need assistance using the online system and cannot find the guidance you need in the pdf Guide to Using the Online System, or the pdf slideshows, please send an email to the licensing specialist at courtreporting@txcourts.gov for assistance from the licensing specialist.
  • If we are unable to resolve matters by email, please feel free to request a phone appointment with the licensing specialist for further assistance.
