Online System Resources

The Judicial Branch Certification Commission (JBCC) has an online certification and licensing system. Continuing education course providers and licensees must have a user profile to use the online system.

The system allows those certified, registered, or licensed by the JBCC to do the following:

  • Apply and pay for new certifications, registrations, or licenses,
  • Renew existing certifications, registrations, or licenses,
  • Update contact information,
  • See a list of approved CE courses (click on column titles to sort from ascending to descending),
  • Apply for CE approval (licensees and providers),
  • Print payment receipts,
  • Check the status of applications by referring to the view pending applications page of your online profile, and
  • Confirm receipt of applications by referring to the view pending applications page of your online profile

When submitting items associated with fees, you will be charged a transaction fee based on the amount of the fee that is due.

Our system allows members of the public to do the following:

  • Search for individuals or entities that are certified, licensed, or registered with the JBCC, and
    • If the information you seek cannot be found on our website, please refer to the Request for Records page of our website.
  • Download an excel list of those certified, licensed, or registered with the JBCC.

Tips for Using the Online Certification, Registration & Licensing System

  • When creating your online profile, do not use the First Time Applicant process if you have already applied with us, are already certified or registered by us, or were previously, certified or registered by us. The First Time Applicant process is only for new applicants.
  • Mobile and Apple devices may not be compatible for using our online system.
  • Naming Files to be Uploaded. Use file names that clearly identifies what is being uploaded. For example, if uploading a fingerprint receipt, a good name would be “FP Receipt”, or “FP Receipt for Jane Doe”.
  • If your profile information is incorrect, and you are unable to correct yourself, please contact the licensing specialist at this address for assistance: courtreporting@txcourts.gov.
  • If you need assistance using the online system, and our Online System Resources do not resolve your issue, please contact the licensing specialist at this address: courtreporting@txcourts.gov.
  • If we are unable to resolve matters by email, our licensing specialist can schedule an appointment with you via phone or zoom for further assistance.
