Jacobson v. State, No. 02-19-00307-CR (Apr. 23, 2020) (Bassel, J., joined by Sudderth, C.J., and Gabriel, J.).

Held: Because there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in a blood sample drawn pursuant to a search warrant based on probable cause to believe a person was driving while intoxicated, the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures does not require a second warrant to test the blood’s alcohol concentration.
