Harris Brewster (1969 to 1976)

Harris Brewster was born on September 4, 1910, in Fort Worth, Texas.  He attended Texas Christian University and Tulane University before receiving his law degree from The University of Texas in 1935.

A veteran of World War II, Brewster was engaged in private law practice until 1950, when he was appointed judge of the 67th District Court in Tarrant County. He served in this capacity until he was appointed to the Second Court of Appeals in 1969.  He left the bench in 1976. 

Brewster passed away in Fort Worth on February 13, 2000, at age 89.  He is buried in Greenwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
